Children enjoy playing and learning in a variety of areas daily. A few examples of these area areas are, music and movement, messy area, planting and digging area, painting area, bike riding, and watering the garden. Children also enjoy sitting in the gathering area and being read to by their teachers. Teachers have held spontaneous talent shows where children enjoy dancing and singing.
The school’s immediate plans are to continue incorporating personal touches in various spaces around the yard. There is are a lot of areas around the yard that are not shaded. We have asked parents for umbrellas to help with shading. We will also have a school-wide clean-up and maintenance day in June.
