HELIUM ANALYZER CALIBRATION WITH AIR

Certified calibration test gas formulated for helium analyzers. Contains 99.999% helium (He) in a 17 L (0.6 cu ft) cylinder with a CGA 600 valve. Requires a compatible CGA 600 regulator, sold separately.

WARNING: Never expose gas sensors to pressure or you may cause damage and/or false readings. Damaged sensors will not provide accurate gas analysis. Most gas analyzers can be used to analyze a regulated gas sample flow, the contents of a gas cylinder, or the flow from a regulator. The flow rate of gas must equal 1-5 L/min. To produce this flow, a Flow Restrictor and Regulator (like the 400-100 Calibration Test Gas Regulator) may be required. A faulty Flow Restrictor can lead to a false analyzer reading. Flow Restrictors should be regularly tested with a Flow Meter. Inaccurate gas analysis can lead to serious personal injury or death.

Due to government regulations, shipping of compressed gases requires special handling and extra costs depending on the ship-to address. Please contact the Nuvair sales team for assistance with ordering test gases.

$65 additional charge for air delivery or shipments outside of the United States. No shipments to APO addresses allowed.

Helium – He calibration gas cylinder CAS 7440-59-7 for bump testing, calibrating and periodically checking He Helium gas detectors. These disposable calibration gas cylinders come with an analysis certificate and expiration date.

He – Helium – mixture in the air gravimetrically mixed according to the principles of the ISO6142 standard. These cylinders ensure accuracy, maximal shelf life and optimal stability.

> Concentration tolerability: NA

> Gaseous mixture stability: 60 months

This is a professional Helium gas analyzer by Forensics Detectors. Equipped with an advanced thermal conductivity sensor and a built-in pump. Comes factory-calibrated with a NIST traceability certificate. The detection range of He gas is 0 – 100% within 20 seconds at an accuracy of +/- 2% full-scale. Comes factory NIST calibrated from Los Angeles, CA. The detector has a DC3.7V Li-battery 2000mAh that allows for over 6 hours of continuous use. Includes advanced features such as high-resolution LCD, backlight high-resolution LCD, calibration features, and a built-in pump to draw your sample and increase response time and ensure constant pressure and flow for the most accurate He readings.

This helium gas analyzer can draw a gas sample to analyze gas mixes for breathing, trimix scuba, compressed gas, industrial applications, welding, and research & development. It also comes with a probe and tubing to be used as a Helium gas leak analyzer used in various equipment including vacuum equipment, spectrometers, and cryogenics. Since helium is light, it is an excellent tracer gas and can penetrate leaks or compromised seals to then be detected and ultimately find a leak.

Helium is a gaseous compound that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. It can be isolated from natural gas when the other compounds are liquefied at a low temperature and high pressure – the helium remains as a gas. It finds uses in welding for metals, rocket propulsion, meteorology, cryogenics, and breathing operations, technical diving, and scuba.
